FAGNA® Individual Membership
FAGNA®'s individual membership is open to female academics and researchers from all disciplines, career stages and regions of the world who identify with the Association's mission of advancing women in academia.
Eligibility for Full Membership
An applicant for FAGNA® Membership should:
- Be a woman actively engaged in academia, higher education, research or a closely related academic profession.
- Hold, or be actively pursuing, an academic or research position at a recognised university, higher-education institution, research institution or equivalent organisation.
- Be at any academic career stage, including early-career academics, lecturers, senior academics, professors, researchers, academic leaders and retired academics, where applicable.
- Demonstrate an interest in or commitment to academic excellence, professional development, collaboration, leadership and the advancement of women in academia.
- Agree to uphold FAGNA®'s objectives, values, policies and Code of Conduct.
- Complete the FAGNA® membership application and provide the information required for verification.
Membership is subject to approval in accordance with FAGNA®'s membership procedures.
What Do FAGNA® Members Gain?

Where possible, FAGNA® should provide verifiable links to the original source of each opportunity.

As FAGNA® develops its mentoring structures, members will have opportunities to:

- support colleagues at earlier career stages; and
- participate in mentoring and professional-development networks.

8. Contribution to the Advancement of Women in Academia

Members will receive access to FAGNA®'s publications and communications, including INSIGHT, FAGNA®'s quarterly publication, subject to the publication's specific access arrangements.
